Qualifying after Day 2 The top ten guys did not find any extra speed today. We only saw five cars improved their speed today and three improve their position. Bucky Hess is now 11th overall with an 8.749, followed by Chuck Comella posting an 8.750. Darrell Marvel moved up two spots to 16th with a 8.833 and Joe Teuton and Kobylski improved their times with a 8.855 and a 9.052 respectively, but did not change their position in the pecking order. We will be live from the paddock all day tomorrow - see if you can't sneak out of the office, know that we did just so we can post round by round coverage as it happens. Jim Daniels is 7th overall in the field. The Barton engine cars of Daniels and Barton had impressive showings today and the field as certainly tightened.
